The Samsung Galaxy S7 is set to take over after the S6. It is the new Samsung flagship and is bound to outdo the S6 in features and functionality. The phone is to be released in 2016 and mobile phone enthusiasts are waiting with bated breath.
It is expected that the S7 will be released in March, 2016 possibly hitting the stores by the second week of March; if we are going by the past trends of Samsung releasing its flagships. The Phone will be announced at MWC which is dated for 22nd to 25th of February 2016.
The S7 is expected to be super slim, dust and water proof. It is expected to have a 5.1 inch display which further consists of corning gorilla glass 5 protection and super AMOLED with a Force TouchWiz user interface. For the operating system, Samsung is expected to go with the Android v 6.0 Marshmallow while the processor is an Octa Core Snapdragon 820. In addition, the phone will have the 32, 64 and 128 GB option and Micro SD card support, a 12.2 MP primary camera and a 5 MP front camera. The battery is expected to be a 4000 mAh which is fast charging and slow to discharge.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is rumored to have embedded SIM cards which are also known as e-SIMs. These SIM cards allow the user to use different networks without having to change their SIM card. Samsung also plans to release two variants of the phone with different screens, that is, the conventional flat screen Galaxy S7 and the curved screen Galaxy S7 edge, although this will be determined at the actual announcement by Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy S7 is also expected to be lower in price than the usual prices for flagship phones. The S7 is expected to retail between $700 to $750 for the Samsung Galaxy S7 depending on one’s location, that is, USA, India or other countries and $850 for the S7 edge plus.
Unlocking the Samsung Galaxy S7
Unlocking the S7 is not a difficult process and will follow the same unlocking process used in other Samsung S variants. All one has to do is download the UnlockScope application from Google Play directly from your phone. Other sites such as unlcokscope.com and unlockunit.com also have the app available. After download, the app will request for some information such as your email address. Once the relevant information has been submitted, one receives an email with the unlocking code and all the instructions needed for the process to be successful. The next step is to insert a sim from a network that is unsupported by your phone and you receive a display message to insert the SIM network unlock pin. Insert the code received via email. After this, to show that the phone has been successfully unlocked, a display message confirming the same appears. Now the Samsung Galaxy S7 can be used with different SIM cards from various networks.
